This issue of the publication features three research articles. The first article, authored by Nebile Uslu Kaplan, examines the English textbook “Notifier” in relation to intercultural competence in language education. The second article, co-authored by Kaplan and Gülnur Nermin Efeoğlu, provides a systematic review of digital and AI-based assessment in university English language teaching contexts. The final article, by Çağınalp İnal and Elif Tokdemir Demirel, analyzes intralingual and interlingual transformations in translations of “Beowulf” through a corpus-based approach.

This publication features three research articles in Volume 4, Issue 2. Fatma Yasemin Bayındır Özkan investigates how foreign students in Türkiye experience changes in their dominant language constellations and its effects on their identities and perceptions of the Turkish language. Mihriban Özgün discusses the challenges faced by Turkish trainees in mastering Aviation English. Vedat Kıymazarslan reconsiders approaches to second language vocabulary instruction, emphasizing the need for comprehensible and compelling input. The issue was published on December 15, 2025.

This issue of Volume 4 focuses on research articles that evaluate intercultural communicative competence and present a model for teaching in diverse classrooms. The article by Ayşe Tuğba Yanık examines textbook effectiveness in fostering intercultural skills, while İlker Tek introduces the RICH model aimed at enhancing educational practices for culturally and linguistically diverse students.
